Craig Joseph Souza, 69 of Willows, Calif. passed away on August 16, 2013. He was born October 9, 1943 in San Francisco, Calif. to Joe and Marie Souza. Craig married Linda Souza on July 22, 1979. He worked for Pirelli Cable for 37 years and the Colusa Indian Wellness Center until he retired in 2010. Craig was a faithful fan to the San Francisco Giants and 49ers, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was fishing, camping or at the Stand. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and his nephew, Kelly Clarke.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina Arlin and husband Sean of Chico, Mary Sheppard and husband, Joe of Sacramento; sister, Virginia Clarke and husband Jim of Bellevue, Wash.; brother, Christopher Souza and fiancé Frances Lepp of Orland; 3 grand children, Whitney and Lindsey Arlin of Chico and Ben Sheppard of Sacramento; niece Courtney Clarke and husband Craig of Seattle, Wash.; Senior Master Sgt Douglas Collins, USAF; niece, Kim York and husband Nate of Chico; his best friend, "Holly" the Basset Hound, and many other family members.
There will be a viewing and Rosary on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 5 p.m., at F.D. Sweet & Son, 114 N. Shasta St., Willows. A graveside service will be held at the Willows Cemetery, 800 E Wood St on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11am. A Celebration of Life will be hosted at the Willows Elks Lodge, 150 S. Shasta St., immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to the Cancer Center of Chico or Portuguese Festa, c/o F.D. Sweet & Son, 114 N. Shasta St., Willows, CA 95988, who will handle the arrangements.

I worked with Crig for 23 years at Pirelli Cable he was a wonderful man and friend.He will most certainly be missed.
