H. Dean Gray
FRESNO: Harold Dean Gray, 78, of Fresno departed from this world on Monday, April 26, 2014 at 10:46 P.M. at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
Born February 8, 1936 at Layland, he was the son of the late Walter Dean and Ruth Irene (Croskey) Gray. A graduate of Clark High School, he served as a Specialist 3 in the U. S. Army from October 22, 1957 to November 13, 1961 as a Field Commo Crewman.
Dean was Manager of Holiday Estates in West Lafayette with his last employment before retiring was in Sales with Pepsi products. Dean was a life member of the Coshocton Elks Lodge #376, a member of the American Legion in Millersburg, and a member of the Coshocton V.F.W. Post #1330. His pastime was fishing.
Dean will truly be missed by his devoted companion of 27 years Charlotte L. Banks; son, Randy L. Gray of Fresno, daughter Paige A. Frame of Lore City; grandchildren, J.R. (Lindsey) Gray of Daytona Beach, FL, Ashley N. Gray of Hilliard, Chad V. (Libby) Caudill of Pataskala, Raelene A. Frame of Lore City; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Eleanor) Gray of Charm, Steve (Dixie) Gray of Clark; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by a son, Ricky D. Gray in 1973.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton. Calling hours will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 10th prior to the services.
Memoriums may be made to the Salvation Army, 219 N. Fourth St., Coshocton, OH 43812.
