Margaret L. Adams
WARSAW: Margaret Lena Adams, 94, of SR 60 N, died Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Coshocton.
She was born Nov. 27, 1918 in Fresno to the late Howard E. and Anna C. (Hoffman) Pope. She married Glenn E. Adams on Sept. 27, 1940, who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2013. She was a 1936 graduate of Roscoe High School, a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and a life-member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Ana) Adams of Roscoe, three grandchildren; Marko (Mary Kay) Herrera of Elgin, SC, Alexis (Tom) Larson of Denver, CO, and Jay-michael (Abigail) Adams of Gahanna, three great-grandchildren; Alexandra & Maggie Herrera, and Jakob Larson, a brother, Don (Joyce) Pope of Coshocton, two sisters; Gladys Ogle and Joyce Guthrie, both of Coshocton, two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Pope of Coshocton, and Grace (Adams) Grey of Williamsport, PA, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband of 72 years, she was preceded in death by a son, John Larry Adams, a brother, Gene Pope, a sister, Reva Jones, and two brothers-in-law, Bob Ogle and Gene Guthrie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Steve Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is one our prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
