Chuck had great stories and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved his family and always was there for them. When Emily was in the hospital with bacterial meningitis I spent many hours with him when she was in coma for 12 days. He was so devoted to her and you could see the adoring love he had for her. That's the kind of guy he was. He was definitely a good guy. He will be missed by all his family and ME

Aunt Sissy, Mindy & Buffy and all family,

I so appreciate the wonderful tribute of this obituary column for my uncle Chuck. Everyone wanted to be around him. He was a great guy! And he was modest about his golf game. He played my Kmart clubs once at Chris' invitational and clobbered everyone in our group! Yes, it is very sad we have lost him. May the good Lord watch over his family and may Chuck be forevermore remembered for his kindness and the love he shared with everyone.

I could not ask god himself for a better grandfather. Although this following statement may be cliche in honoring deceased loved ones, my grandfather truly was the rock of our family. The love my grandparent's have for one another is simply out of this world. She was the sunshine of his life as he is to hers. His main goal in life was to ensure his family was happy and taken care of. I don't know what we will do without you but I promise you Grandpa everything is going to be alright in given time.. Though I know we will think of you every day and our hearts will always ache. My grandparents (Charles and Emily) will always be my heroes. I love you both to the moon and back always.

I have great memories of Ward in High School. He liked to walk on the edge and was one of the good guys. May he rest in peace and the best wishes to his family.

From our point of view, Chuck was a man who so treasured you, his family. He always concerned himself with everyone's welfare and opportunities...a pretty wonderful man!
We are sorry to lose him.
With love to you all,
