Vivian Brown Kinerd was born on May 9, 1938 to George W. and Viola Gunter Brown in Conroe, Texas, and passed away on January 15, 2017 in Conroe.
Vivian graduated from Conroe High School in 1956 and was employed by the former Conroe National Bank the same year until 1991. She was then employed by the former A.G. Edwards until 1995 at which time she retired. Vivian was married to Leslie G. Kinerd in 1968 until his death in 2011.
Vivian was "Aunt Bitsy" to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She deeply loved each and every one of them and spent many happy times with them.
Preceded in death by brothers; Elton Linwood Brown, W.A. Brown, James H. Brown, and Glen A. Brown, sisters; Valrie B. Cansler and Vernell Graf, Vivian is survived by her brother; Dixon E. Brown of Conroe, Texas, sisters; Lynda Phillips and Patsy Ann Brown of Boerne, Texas.
Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Friday, January 20, 2017 starting at 1:00pm with the funeral service following visitation at 3:00pm. Interment will be at Garden Park Cemetery following funeral service.

I worked with Vivian at the bank from 1971 until 1991. She was a very smart lady and I learned a great deal from her.

I not only worked with Vivian for many years at Allied Conroe Bank/First Interstate Bank but was also her neighbor during my childhood years. So sorry to hear of her passing. RIP Bitsy
