From a real fan, we met in San Francisco Ca. your opening act was the whispers early 70's, then later the same year in Boston Ma. at the SUGAR Shack with my sister. U will surely be missed. But U now join all the other Greats in Soul Heaven. Thanks for the memories.

The Ohio Players are probably my favorite band ever. Did not hear about his passing until a few weeks ago. R.I.P. Sugar. Your music has and always will be a huge part of my life.
