Jeffrey J. Basiaga
AGE: 58 • Collingswood
Jeffrey J. Basiaga passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on April 14, 2014 at the age of 58 in Collingswood, NJ.
He is survived by his devoted wife Stella M. Basiaga (nee Reagan); a son Jeffrey Jr.(Emily) Basiaga; a granddaughter Megan Rose; a brother Leon (Lori) Basiaga and a sister Natalie Rutherford (Tom Richter); and many nephews and cousins.
Currently a long time resident of Collingswood, Jeff attended Pennsauken High School and enjoyed many outings crabbing, fishing, and hiking. He was also a movie enthusiast. Jeffrey was a very creative chef and was employed by Johnson Controls, in the Marshall Islands, South Pacific for many years. In recent years, he was employed by Cracker Barrel in Mt. Laurel & Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill.
On April 21, 2014, a Memorial Gathering will take place at 11 AM and a Reflections & Remembrances at NOON at the BLAKE-DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 226 W. Collings Ave., Collingswood, NJ.
Donations in Jeff's memory may be sent to Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association, 300 Harper Drive, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
