Tom was always the most polite, respectful and friendly person you'd want to meet. I work at Shoe Carnival and wish to offer my condolences to the family and all who knew and loved Jack. What a special person he was.

Anita, I'm so glad that you and Jack were able to come to Brownwood last year on your travels, and that Mike and I got to spend some time with both of you. I loved getting to see Jack's quilts, experience his pride and joy in his work, and his plans for his next quilting project, and the project after that one, and the next one -- his joy was infectious. He was a man who loved life and embraced it fully. We can envision his arrival at his new home with his Savior, basking in His love with complete peace and joy. But I know you miss him deeply... Prayers for you dear Lady, and all your family. Priscilla & Mike Rogers, Brownwood, TX

Anita and family,
I wanted you know know how sad I am for your loss. I worked with Jack at the Shoe Carnival distribution center for many years. He was a good man and a man that I looked up to. We had a lot of conversations about the Lord and I was always blessed to be around him. He even came to my house once to help me with an electrical project. He was a joy to be around and yes I got that look he gave when I was being stupid several times. I am glad I see your son in law Mike Payne and he was able to tell me when Jack was in the hospital and I was glad to see Jack and you Anita a few weeks ago. Jack was a blessing to me. I appreciated his friendship.
I am sorry, I couldn't make it to the visitation or funeral. Prayers for you and the family at this time. from Dan Meny
