Louise Hickrod
Evansville, Ind.
Louise Hickrod, 91, passed away, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Good Samaritan Home. She was born May 21, 1921, in Central City, Kentucky, to George and Dovie (McRoy) Stewart. Louise was a member of Bethel Temple, a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, and a member of the Daughters of the Nile.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Clifford Stewart, James Stewart, and Mae Russell.
Louise is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clarence Hickrod; children, Clifford Christian (Mary Ellen), Terry Hickrod, Peggy Bond (James), Carroll Hickrod (Debbie), Donna Valente (Ed); 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2013, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E Columbia St, Evansville, Ind., (812) 424-9288, Rev. David Schwambach will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Friends may visit 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
