My warmest thoughts and prayers go out to the Brown family. I have many fond memories of Rev. W.R. Brown and the late Johnnie Ruth Brown while being under their leadership. I can remember oh so well, the time when i was 9 years old, coming from school (Lincoln) and my behavior wasn't pleasing... well, behold, Rev. and Sis. Brown appeared at the corner of Lincoln and chandler i believe and heard my unruly mouth. WOW! did i get a correction from the both of them to straighten up and fly right. Rev. Brown wanted you to be the best that you could be. Now it is time for Rev. Brown to be in that place of rest. Until we meet again... It's all in the Master's hands. We all must keep on striving for holiness, making our election sure to see our Savior face to face and our loved ones~

With the love of our Messiah, Yahshua Ha Mashiach~ (Hebrew)

Today I have lost a good friend and colleague. Reverend Dr. W.R. Brown, Sr. was a man of letters as well as having a way with people. I recall many happy times spent with him and his late wife.

To the bereaved family: Reverend W.R. Brown, Jr., Emily, Princess, Monique and W.R. Brown, III I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences. Always remember the good times and fond memories of Dr. Brown.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time or sorrow.

Evansville was blessed the day Rev. W.R. Brown, Sr., became a member of this community. His actions and stewardship continue to benefit many people today. Now he is at rest in the arms of the Lord. Rest in peace, Rev. Brown.
