THANKS for all one's HARD WORK and DEDICATION.....ONE IS MISSED....RIP
June 24, 2010
I sang in the New Hope choir back in the early 70s as a teenager with Helen Martin, Rudy Avery, Kenny, LaVerne and Kim Hinton and many others. Rev. Brown and his wife were a constant blessing to my family and I. He was a genuine, Spirit-drenched, man of God. Rev. Brown's influence on New Hope will be forever felt. I think about my days at New Hope from time to time, and I thank God for my time there. May New Hope continue to praise God for the blessing of us having W. R. Brown, Sr. with us for so long. Using one of his favorite quotes: Rev. Brown was "a friend who sticketh closer than a brother."

Blessing to you all,
