1939 – 2017
Robert Eugene Webb ("Bobby" to family and friends) passed away peacefully, Friday, October 13, 2017, at Crestview Manor, the assisted living facility where he was a resident. Bobby was born on Nov. 14, 1939 in Hacoda, Al. to Charlie L. Webb and Margaret Gay Webb. He was raised in Crestview, Fl., where he graduated from CHS in 1959. Soon after graduation, Bobby enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he honorably served as an LPN, and retired with the rank of E-6, TSGT. Bobby was preceded in death by his father and mother, and is survived by older brother, Coley Glenn Webb of Columbia, Mo., and younger sister, Martha Ellen Jenkins of Crestview, Fl. Bobby believed in his heart the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and he will live with his Savior throughout eternity. Visitation and funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 492 E. Pine Avenue, Crestview, Fl., with Pastor Dennis Robinson of First Baptist Church, Garden City, officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Crestview. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends of Bobby donate to the charitable cause of their choosing.
