Vines, Barbara
Barbara G. Vines, age 69, of Derby entered eternal rest Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital . Born in Donalds, SC, she was a resident of Derby for twenty-six years. Barbara retired from United Methodist as a living assistant. She was formerly employed with Harvey Hubbell for twenty-three years. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Leroy Vines, parents, William A. and Eliza Pace Lee, brother, June Lee. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Cynthia Vines of Derby, CT; two brothers, Curtis P. Lee of SC and William Lee, Jr. of Stratford; four sisters, Eula Clark of Stratford, Carol Lee of Bloomfield; Linda Lee of Bridgeport and Mary Jackson of Stratford; three grandchildren, Leroy, JayRon and Derrick Vines and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 AM at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 729 Union Avenue , Bridgeport , with Pastor Robert Riley, officiating. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery following the service. Friends are invited to the viewing from 9AM-10AM at the church. Morton's Mortuary Inc., 25 Margaret E. cynthia , so sorry to hear of your moms passing just found out and i would have been there to pay my respects to your mom she was an awesome lady and i will never forget her i loved her she was a dear . take comfort to know she is know in a far better place. xoxoxox
