Dear Lisa, Bruce & Sondra,
Sue & I were so sorry to hear about the passing of you father. Uncle Bob was always such a great guy, and we remember him fondly.
I remember especially well a Saturday afternoon MANY years ago when I watched football with him at your home (I think my mom was visiting yours). As I recall, we were watching the great Gale Sayers playing for the Bears and Uncle Bob told me all about him and football as we watched. I later went on to big a big NFL fan (btw, I LOVE the Redskins also!) and that moment has always stuck with me.
Your dad could always depended upon to be kind, caring and funny, and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He was a special guy!
We regret not getting the news of his passing in time to be with you for his wake or funeral. Please know that our thoughts and best wishes were with you at this sad time for all who knew him.
Sue & I hope to be able to reminisce with you personally in the not-too-distant future. Our best to you & yours during the Christmas season!
Love,
Billy LaVallee
