I'll never forget the all-star game of 1955. As my best friend and I sat down to watch the game on TV, I predicted Stan would hit a home run. He didn't let me down, as his homer in the 12th won the game!

One of my most cherished childhood memories is sitting the the left field stands, that close to Stan Musial. So glad I was a kid while Stan was playing ball! Don't know if there will ever be any one like him again.

Rest in Peace Mr. Stan Musial. Baseball is great, but you made it even better. A lot of the players today could use a good lesson from you when it comes to honesty, integrity and play for the sport rather than a huge multi-million dollar paycheck. America and the baseball world will always miss you. God Bless You!
