From the very first time I heard "Take Five" when I was a young teenage girl, I became a huge jazz fan. Between Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond, my love of jazz never waned. What a gift Mr. Brubeck gave this world!
You have certainly earned the opportunity to finally "take five", Dave.
His music means a great deal to me. My earliest introduction to jazz, and a big reason I now like jazz! Condolences to all his family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Brubeck family. As a young man in music school in the 1960's I loved and disected many of Dave's works and found great inspiration in my own musical life. His genius will live forever.
