Tom & Kristie,
I don't know who I cried more for my parents passing or getting the news from Tom that Bill had passed.
I will always remember the trips to Las Cruces and your trips to Dallas & even to Ovilla when we were kids. I know our mom, JoAnn always thought of Bill more as a Brother, than a cousin. I am sure she and our dad, Mariam & all of the Aunts & Uncles were waiting for him in Heaven. He was a truly great man.
I remember the times we would all be sitting around laughing & he would do his "yah yah" and have that smile on his face.
He will be missed by many as you can see from the other people that wrote memories in this book. He obviously touched so many lives. I know you are so proud of him.
God blessed us all who's lives he touched.
Keep in touch. You'll are in our thoughts & prayers.

Tom and Kristie and family, please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your father. May your sorrow pass and be quickly replaced with the many, many fond memories. Your father was a true gentleman and his pride in you shone through in his beaming smile every time I had the privilege of seeing him. Like I told Tom... In Heaven, God told Jesus to scoot over and make some room because a truly remarkable man was coming up.

May the God of all comfort strengthen your family during this time of sorrow.

I was so saddened by the news of your dad's passing. As a kid, he was a 2nd dad to me and then in life he was a helpful neighbor, awesome math teacher, generous, kind and always fun to talk to. Even though I've know you all forever, I never knew he and your mom met in Artesia! He had so many accomplishments to be proud of and loved you both so much. You know I love you both and if there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask.

Fondest memories of Mr. Wood. I had the honor of being in his classroom at Picacho Middle School. Always had a smile and would make his little jokes or comments that would make you laugh. He will be missed. Thanks for everything and those you touched with your humor and instruction.

Tom,
I don't often read the paper but when I do I find myself trolling the obituaries hoping not to see familiar names. Your name jumped off the page. We are so sorry to hear about your father. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
