I first met Edna when I moved to Sunrise. I was a freshman in high school. Her daughter, Barbie, and I became close friends. Through my high school years I spent many hours in their home. Edna was always warm and welcoming. Always with a ready smile and an offer of something wonderful to eat! She was constantly doing something for someone else. Such an unselfish and giving lady. Always took me in like one of the family. I love her dearly and have nothing but precious memories of her. Heaven gets a little sweeter everyday! Can't wait to see her again with no more pain! Tommy, Barbie, David, Jeff, Joe and all the family, you are all in my prayers. May the Lord comfort you in the days ahead. I know He can and will!
