My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of your love one. May the God of comfort be with you during this sad occasion and may his loving words at John 6:40 console your heart.

I met John through his daughter who was a classmate of my son, Dan. They were also very good friends. I was always impressed with how well he taught his kids to be respectful and involved with school activities. I was pleased when he moved to Oak Crest where we could visit with one another. He will be missed! I offer my deepest sympathy to Lisa and the family.

worked with John at NIU. He from Sycamore and I from DeKalb, but graduated in the same year. We knew many of the same people and enjoyed talked about some the common things we shared. John was always funny, very well dressed, and I would imagine easy to work for, although he was never my supervisor. I was happy when he told me he was moving to Oakcrest, I thought that was a great place for him to be, as he enjoyed talking with others, and I knew he would find some other residents he knew. He was a very proud and loving Dad, and glowed when he talked about his children. RIP my friend, enjoy the rest of this journey.

Working with John at NIU was a pleasure. He was always smiling, and said hello. Usually had a story to share, as we both went to HS the same year, he Sycamore and I DeKalb, so we knew many of the same people. John was kind, caring and had great sense of humor even poking fun at himself often. He was noted for his dapper attire, always perfectly dressed. He was a pleasure to know, and I'm glad to call such a nice, and kind man friend
