Barb, Jean and Joan, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I will miss her dearly at the farm bureau. I LOVED talking with her when she came in. She would always ask about my son, who goes to Coe College, and we would talk about Coe vs Cornell rivalry. "If you can't go to Cornell, go to Coe", or something like that. She was a special lady, gave our family alot of Spartan wear too. I wish I could have made the services yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My sympathy to Lou Ann's family. Lou Ann was a great colleague to work with when I taught 2nd grade in the Shabbona School District forr 7 years.. A few years later my oldest daughter had Mrs. Benson for her first grade teacher, and I still have the cute Christmas projects she made back then 30 years ago. Always brings back good memories. I know she will be missed by so many.

Jean, Joan, Barb and family, Please accept our sincere condolences. Your mom was a great lady, always thinking about others before herself. She was a good teacher, a great neighbor, and a good friend. Sorry we did not make the service but the weather is hard to handle with moms walker. Thanks for sharing her with us, she touched man lives from the first graders to the neighborhood kids. But you guys already knew that, she did a great job helping to mold you guys into the women you are today. Thinking of you today and often, The Cherokee street kids!
