Larry Guy Bell was born July 17, 1990, the third son of Lloyd and Cindi Bell. He enjoyed living life to the fullest until his death on Aug. 7, 2013, as a result of a car accident.
Larry attended Bloomfield Public School from kindergarten through high school, where he played football and was an All-State offensive lineman, graduating in 2009. Larry enjoyed watching football. He was an avid Packers fan even among a sea of Broncos and Cowboys fans. At the age of 16, Larry volunteered as a firefighter for the Bloomfield Fire Department. After serving as a firefighter for five years, he became a welder's helper where he happened upon his dream job at Intermountain Construction where he became a line locator. When Larry wasn't at work, he was spending time with his family and friends, who he loved very much. He treasured spending time with his young cousins, who admired and adored their "uncle" Larry. Once winter came you could count on finding Larry shredding it up in the Colorado mountains with his many Sixno friends. When Larry entered a room he lit it up always putting a smile on every person's face. Larry knew no strangers, to him, everyone was a friend. Larry Bell loved life, the Lord, his mom and beer!
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Guy Bell Jr. "Junie" and Mary Jeanne Bell; his maternal grandfather, Sherman Smith; his aunt, Nancy Goble and his uncle, Michael Jackson.
He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Cindi Bell; brothers, Matthew and Martin Bell; grandmother, Gladys Smith; uncles and aunts, Elden and Linda Bell, Wayne and Patty Wright, Martha Moyer, Clarke Goble, Pam Retherford, Mike and Stacey Smith and Paula Jackson; cousins, Nate and Chrissy Wright, Tim Wright, Kevin Bell, Justin Bell, Jamz Retherford, Faren and Becky Retherford, Shane and Rena Tyckson, Meca Smith, Jenny Smith, Tessa Jackson and Lambert, Zayne Jackson, Nate and Elata Christenson, Louie Smith, Mariah Smith; and Courtney Smith; and god-parents, Pat and Marty McCray and God-mother, Lulu Hampton
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield.
He will be laid to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following the mass.
A lunch to celebrate his life will be served at St. Mary's Parish Hall following the burial.
The pallbearers are Robert Aleshire, Orry Cummins, Derek Estes, Destry Gallegos, Adam Gurule, Freddie Hampton, Jeff Phillips and Chance Trujillo.
The honorary pallbearers are Jamz Retherford, Faren Retherford, Nate Wright, Tim Wright, Kevin Bell, Louie Smith, Zayne Jackson, Justin Bell, Tito Blisner, Anthony DeHerrera, Brian Detrick, J Bird Detrick, Dylan Estes, Tyler Estes, Shane Hellekson, Chad Lance, Tony Martinez, Ben Mauzy, Justin McCoy, David McKinney, Robert Slaugh, Tony Schmitz, Gionni Valdez; and all B-Hill Bros.

My thoughts and prayers are always with his family and loved ones. Growing up with Larry is cherished. I remember him always bringing the laughs and smiles out of everyone. From being a goof in class to becoming a cheerleader during homecoming powder puff games. He will always be missed but will live on in memory with all who meet him. Rest in Peace my friend!

Larry was a shy young boy when first we met. It is true that he could light up a room whenever he came in, and this we learned over the years. To Cindi, Lloyd and your family and friends, we grieve your loss. Sending love and prayers....

Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
