He will be remembered and we will see him and hear his music again
And He will wipe every tear from their eye and death will be no more

God blessed me with the most precious child 36 years ago. Every tear I am shedding now for this unbearable loss will never take away the years of pleasure he gave me when his sweet soul graced this earth. He will forever live on in my heart and the hearts of all who loved him.

Our hearts are broken after learning of the tragic loss of Benny last Saturday. For Benny's family, know that everyone he connected with through his music is also suffering. He truly was special and we will look for his star shining bright in the sky and listen closely to still hear his beautiful music.

We are so sorry to hear about Benny. He was such a positive role model for so many. My son was in his ensemble class and was always talking about Benny. He was such a warm, helpful, talented musician. We are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember him and how he touched our lives. My sons will remember his music video on the beach always....

As a student of Benny for more than 4 years, I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Benny taught me how to play the alto and tenor sax, and I am grateful for everything he taught me. I will miss him.

A young, kind, gentle, talented teacher was taken from my son and me. I keep replaying my last interaction with Benny exactly a week ago...greeting us with his permanent smile and his eyes that sparkled..I hear his words...listening to him teach my son in his make shift lesson room at Amuse's temporary site..I remember feeling how lucky my son is to have him for a teacher....and looked forward to the future.... Our hearts are heavy....My son Gabriel and I offer our deepest condolences to his family. Thank you for sharing him with us. R.I.P Benny. We will miss you.

I just listened to Benny's Coastal Tide, what a great loss to the music world and all of us that had not yet experienced his talent. May he join the all star band of muscians that have gone before him.
Joel, my friend, my heart aches for all of you. You're in my prayers.

Susan, Joel, Sheri and Stuart. My heart has been saddened over the past few days. I can only imagine how you must feel. Please know, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you take comfort in the wonderful words everyone has been writing about Benny, how wonderfully talented he was and how he touched everyone's lives with his music! May his memory (and music) be a blessing to those lives he touched while here on our earth. May G-d wrap his arms around you all and give you a little comfort in knowing Benny's now playing from above.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Benny taught our daughter to play the flute. He was an amazing musician and so patient and kind with kids. We always loved hearing him play with Pretzel Logic at the PV Street Fair. He will be missed.

A few short weeks ago I hired Benny to do a quick writing job for me. Even though he was out of the country, he agreed to do the job for me. He cranked it out, nailing it as usual. I asked him to send an invoice and he sent this:
Happy Belated Birthday Gordon,
As a birthday gift, this one is totally on me.
I hope the session goes well tomorrow.
Benny
Sent from my iPhone
He sent that email on Jan 2. We lost a good one this time.
RIP Benny, a pleasure to know you a little bit.

You are one of the finest people I have ever met. Every time I saw you I felt better afterwards. I used to stand outside your music teaching room just to listen to you play. You are one of a kind and I will never forget you
