Carlene Jaques Obituary
Jaques and her husband, Norman, who preceded her in death, established JJCCC in 1983 in memory of their son Jonathan, who died of leukemia in 1976. They also lost another son, Geoffrey, who had aplastic anemia, in 1957.
She never imagined that JJCCC would one day become a national, renowned pediatric oncology center, caring for more than 800 children each year who seek treatment for cancer, leukemia and blood disorders, in addition to other services for patients and families.
