May God bless Cecil Fleener and his wife Virginia. Mr. Fleener's life story in last weekend's Daily Breeze was inspiring and humbling. Mr. Fleener's life was one we should all aspire to: a life well-lived. My husband and I salute Mr. Fleener for his service and wish we had had the pleasure of meeting on this side of heaven. Well done, good and faithful servant. Sincerely, Suzanne and David Hadley

I have great respect for Cecil and for his service to our country. I learned a lot of history from him as he was a 1st hand observer to historical events. I always looked forward to his visits to my office. I will miss him.

Cecil was a member of the South Bay Red Barons, and we had the privilege of hearing him tell us of his Potsdam experience with Truman. He came to our meetings .... He was a true gentleman, and a really great guy. We miss you Cecil!
