My dad was an amazing human being he was the most gentle, humble, good-natured man that I've ever known. II would cry coming home from elementary school telling him the kids said that you were not my daddy or mommy,( because we were all adopted from day one ) he he told me to go back and tell them yes they are because I was so special that I was chosen that made me very happy and secure to know that my parents really loved me. Everybody thought he was a hero for all his accomplishments, a 30 year fireman very active in his church, always serving, serving, serving I never saw my dad angry at all. If there was ever a man that really truly tried to live the Bible and walk like Jesus it was him. Like I said everybody thought he was a hero because of his accomplishments, No, in my eyes and my sisters Eyes he was a hero just because he was our dad. We love you miss you daddy, Mona Bramley

Terrea, your father was a truly great man. He was my first year Seminary instructor as well as my parents' home teacher for years. I believe he was instrumental in my father, Jack Cushman, joining the Church at age 82 after my mom passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your long-time friend, Nancy Cushman Delphenich

Biggest shining "God loved" Humbling face in a "celebrated Senior" that I have ever or will encounter in my profession as a caregiver I am certain!

Clarence was my best friend. I always considered his family as our family. He lived in the same apartment building when I was born in Long Beach, CA in 1924. When his family would move, ours would follow. Clarence is a true hero, both in WWII, to his faith and to me. I always urge everyone to read his story in the book titled "A Study in Valor".
My deepest condolences to his family.
