Sympathy wishes extended to the family of Emily Daniel Wolverton from members of the Stanton VFW Auxiliary. Since Emily was a Life Member of Auxiliary 3601, we would like the date of her death. We will look forward to family members who will be visiting Stanton this summer. Please send the DOD to Susan Frank (skwfrank@gmail.com), daughter-in-law of Lenice Frank.

I grew up in Hawthorne and just lived around the corner from Eucalyptus school on 120 th st. Mrs, Wolverton was my 1st, grade teacher in 1957. I've always felt she has played a very significant role in my life ! I remember her as always been kind and good with me. Im sure is in peace and my thoughts are with the family ... Were all flowers , And Emily was one of my favorite flowers who's memories will last forever with us . . . ....

Please accept my heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Wolverton's family.

I vividly remember Mrs. Wolverton even though my 1st grade teacher at Eucalyptus was Mrs. Knocky.

Mrs. Wolverton was a kind lady who always smiled and helped our 2nd grade class with Ms. Fonda (later, Mrs. Fink)set up a room to watch colored slides.

My name is Leo Valencia. I'm V-2, and graduated from HHS in the class of 1964.

I've never met Mrs Emily Wolverton but I can tell she was an amazing woman. Please accept my consoleless. It's educators like Emily that provided a positive influence on not only 1 or 2 generations but on many to come. I myself am a Wolverton and my daughter is Emily. I'm going to tell my daughter she should be very proud to share the same name with such a beautiful, amazing woman. It sounds like she was blessed with a wonderful family also. I'm so sorry for your loss.
