Walter "Bud" Cunningham
With his family by his side, Bud passed away March 15, 2013 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Michael (Maria), Daniel (Alba), and Scott, as well as 6 grandchildren, (Marisol, Daniel, Allyson, Tatiana, Christopher, David; and 4 siblings. "Buddy" was born November 1, 1941 to Mary and Walter Cunningham of Philadelphia. Bud served in the US Navy on the USS Lexington from 1959-1962 and settled in Torrance, CA where he raised his family. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to The American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer research in his memory. A memorial service will be held on March 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.

Thanks to all the friends, neighbors and family who attended the memorial service for Bud. Also, to all who could not make it but sent condolences. I know it was very comforting to Connie.

Our heartfelt condolences to all of the Cunningham family upon the passing of Bud. It was obvious at the memorial service that he has a wonderful family to carry on his legacy. May your love of family and fond memories sustain you through this time of loss.
