Walter "Bud" Cunningham

With his family by his side, Bud passed away March 15, 2013 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Michael (Maria), Daniel (Alba), and Scott, as well as 6 grandchildren, (Marisol, Daniel, Allyson, Tatiana, Christopher, David; and 4 siblings. "Buddy" was born November 1, 1941 to Mary and Walter Cunningham of Philadelphia. Bud served in the US Navy on the USS Lexington from 1959-1962 and settled in Torrance, CA where he raised his family. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to The American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer research in his memory. A memorial service will be held on March 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.

Thanks to all the friends, neighbors and family who attended the memorial service for Bud. Also, to all who could not make it but sent condolences. I know it was very comforting to Connie.
