My condolences to the family for your loss. Losing a mother is such a difficult thing. May you find comfort in our heavenly father during this time because he cares deeply of those who are brokenhearted. May his love give you the strength needed and peace of heart during this time of loss.

Glenous and I were great WAL friends. What a energetic person she was. Always involved in something and a loyal WAL member for so many years. I was president in 1966, and we shared so many wonderful times together. My deepest sympathy to all her family. Mary Hennessy, La Canada Flintridge, CA.

I grew up down the street from the Absmeier's house on Rockinghorse and watched their Dobermans many times while they traveled. I have fond memories of Mrs. Absmeier giving us Hostess treats from her work and always waving as she passed by. Both she and her husband were great neighbors and especially friendly to the children.
