Galye and I shared the same homeroom throughout Dana Jr. High and SPPH. I have so many fond memories of her. She was not only beautiful but also had a very kind heart. Please know that I have her entire family in my thoughts and prayers at this unhappy time.
With deepest sympathy, JoAnn (Car) Storti Class of W'62
My sincere condolences to Cliff, Michelle, and Margo.
What I will miss most about Gayle is her positive energy, laugh, and smile! Gayle had the ability to light-up a room and find the joy in every occasion. It didn't matter if it were celebrating Christmas or my mom's birthday or a simple visit. She always had a smile on her face and sincerely enjoyed seeing to it that everyone else did as well.
Ultimately, I will miss her being able to see her children and grand-children. As I shared with my mom, I want Cassidy to know her grandmother. I hope Cassidy can see through the spirit and personalities Gayle instilled in her daughters the loving grandmother she had.
My God Bless and be with you, Gayle.
What will I miss most bout Gayle ?? What a hard question - I will miss everything. Our families blended 11 years ago when Michelle and Robb became engaged. The very first thing I loved so much was the good feeling I had about this wonderful family that my son was becoming a part of - Gayle of course was at the center of that. As the years passed, our families have shared every Christmas Season from day one and became what I felt was our "extended family", but more than that, Gayle became my dear friend. We had so many good times and of course Gayle had a new game to play every year!!
The last 2 1/2 years, we have spent so many days just sitting in the den watching each and every single "awesome" thing that our beautiful grandaughter, Cassidy, did. Our love for this child was unbelievable - almost overwhelming and we could understand each others emotions. We had so many great conversations - shared thoughts and feelings - laughed and cried !! Just things good friends do. I will miss all these things and more and I will always share her love of family and friends to our grandaughter.
