Rest in peace...dear friend.
I had the privilege of being a tenant of Larry's. He was kind and thoughtful to me and my children, Natalie and Sam. He went the extra mile to ensure we were happy and comfortable in his building. We felt more like family than tenants.
Larry's smile and sense of humor are second only to his kindness. Larry...you will be missed greatly.
Our most sincere condolences to the Lepore family.
Larry was a great friend for many years. He helped me through a rough period of my life and I will be forever grateful. I will miss him greatly. I can't thank him enough for all that he has done for me and my family. My condolences to the family. Susie
We will never forget the wonderful friend Larry was to us. Our lives have been blessed knowing such a kind and good man who had such love and charity for people. We loved talking with him and hearing his laugh and sense of humor. We will miss seeing him around the apartments.
Larry was blessed to be loved by so many people and his wonderful family. Out thoughts and prayers are with Ralph, Steve and family.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time
Larry was a guy who did not allow limitations to get in his way, be it age or distance. He pushed himself physically until the end, and on many occasions I remember seeing him working hard to fix up his properties right before new tenants were scheduled to moved in. He was in his eighties by then, but so what. Working kept him young, even as he made me feel old. Nevertheless, it was amazing to see him work like that. The guy made no excuses.
Turns out Larry was also an avid traveler who visited every corner of the globe and had the stories to prove it. I wish I were able to ask him more about his experiences abroad, but I'll probably have to see for myself someday instead of relying on other people to fill me in. I imagine Larry felt likewise.
Larry also had a generous soul, and I will never forget how he kindly he treated my parents throughout the years. As a landlord he went above and beyond. As a person he went even further.
We are grateful for having met Larry when we did, and we are saddened to hear if his passing. He will be missed without a doubt.
Little Larry (as my dad and Nora nicknamed him) was an amazing man; and a wonderful friend to our family. What I loved about Little Larry the most was that when he walked into the room…he lit it up! He had an incredible sense of humor and such passion for life. It meant the world to my husband and I that Larry attended our wedding in Mexico. He was selfless and smart and had a HUGE heart. He was my Dads and Nora's “California family” and I will forever be grateful for the support, love and laughter he gave them and all the members of my family.
Larry was a wonderful, kind hearted man & a great landlord. He had a lovley smile. I will always cherish our "funny" conversations. He was so sweet with my daughter Kimiko.
My deepest condolences to the Lapore Family.
To Larry's family and friends. The loss of Larry was a total shock and a great loss to those who knew him. Larry was a really generous and friendly person. Always smiling and laughing. He will truly be missed by all of his buddies from San Pedro, the Elk's and the Dalmatian. May God bless Larry's family and may he be a peace.

Rest in peace
Sorry to hear that Larry has passed away. I knew Larry for 50 years since the 1960s. Back then he would never fail to stop his car to say hello when I would be mowing the lawn as a kid. I remember Larry as a person who was always busy, but never too busy to help someone in need. I had a great time with Larry in 2005 when we went to Beijing, China together to visit the Great Wall. I saw Larry 14 months ago in LA and had no idea that would be the last time we would ever meet. My family and I will miss him.
Ralph and family, my condolences go out to you all. Will keep you in my prayers, Sharon
