PETE, IT'S WITH DEEP SADDNESS THAT I'M WRITING THIS TO YOU. I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF YOU AND PATTI AS A LITTLE GIRL LIVING ON HARKER STREET. I STILL CAN REMEMBER THE DAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MOVED INTO THE APARTMENT BUILDING. ALTHOUGH, YOU ALWAYS LOOKED LIKE A TOUGH GUY, U WERE ALWAYS A BIG TEDDY BEAR TO ALL THE KIDS ON THE BLOCK. U WOULD COME OUTSIDE AND WATCH MY SISTER VALERIE DO WHEELIES ON HER BMX BIKE, I ALWAYS PLAYED OUTSIDE WITH YOU SISTER SUSIE, AND AS KIDS WE WOULD ALWAYS ARGUE AND FIGHT ABOUT THE SILLIEST OF THINGS AND THERE YOU WERE ALWAYS COMING TO OUR RESCUE TO BE AND STAY FRIENDS.... TODAY, I AM A MOTHER OF 3 CHILDREN AND I WISH MY CHILDREN HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW UP ON A BLOCK LIKE HARKER STREET AND HAVE A LOVING NEIGHBOR LIKE YOU AND PATTI.
