Dear Aunt Carol,
The enlightenment you gave to others will never burn out.
We love and miss you!

Thank you to all who attended my Aunt Carol's services.
My life is forever changed and she will be deeply missed.

I am so sorry I was not able to attend Carol's funeral. She has been the motivating force in my delving further and further into my own ancestors' lives. In fact I am in a little town outside of Mobile, Alabama doing research now. I so wanted to share my success with Carol when I return home.
Her passing is indeed a profound loss to so many people. My sincere sympathy goes to her family.

We were so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. Of course our condolences go out to her family.

They also go out to the Family History Center, where Carol epitomized the "family" in the Family History Center. She made everyone feel welcome and more importantly made everyone feel empowered to find the clues to their own family history. It seems to me that there are a series of "regulars" passing through the center, all of whom for some period of time became part of Carol's family. The thing is, even after we've left home (so to speak) she is still in our hearts.

With gratitude that I knew her, with thanks for her invaluable assistance with research, and with sorrow that she is gone I rejoice that Carol was family for a while, at the same time opening my eyes to my larger family.

Dear Family of Carol,

So many beautiful things have been said about Carol, but I would like to add my voice in praise of her--a truly unique and special person.

My husband Manuel & I first met Carol at the Family History Center where Carol was of invaluable help to us in tracing my husband's Chinese ancestry.

Ultimately our whole family enjoyed traveling in China with her & Joe. They were such a special couple. We miss both of them.
