Jake Piasecki Obituary
Known for his high aerials and tricks, the pro skateboarder from the South Bay developed a nationwide following, products bearing his name, and admirers who tried to live up to his standards.
Piasecki's sudden death at age 45 last week shocked the skateboard community. Piasecki, a husband and father from Redondo Beach, was at the forefront of the sport's popularity in the South Bay in the 1980s.

To jakes family and friends. I want to let u know that our brothers passing has touched three generations. My grand daughters friends knew of him ! They had boyfriends who skated and admired his spectacuñar style as well. He was diving flying , dancing mid air on that ramp!
All i had to do was say his name and these high schoolers knew all about him. So we are missing him but comforted to know he got to live his skateboarding dream. Let us rejoice because we h a d a chance to live in his dream for a while. RIP ,The Beliveau family :)
