Such an honor and privilage to know Larry and have him serve as my councilmember for the city of Lawndale. He loved the city and the work he was able to do on behalf of it's citizens. It will never be the same without him.
My condolences to Shirley and to his boys.

Larry was an amazing man. I remember him from the Lawndale City Council. The night he told me he was in need of a new heart, and the prayers that we said. Larry along with Harold Hoffmann, Nancy McKee, gave me so much inspiration for that I will always be thankful. Larry Rest In Peace friend, until we meet again.

Strong family values defined the great man that Councilman Larry Rudolph exemplified. I was honored to considered him both a friend and mentor. He demonstrated the ability to walk tall, speak softly, and command strength utilizing strong leadership skills and wisdom. I admired his high ethical standards and personal integrity. I respected his intelligence, warmth and compassion, which he generously shared with all who came in contact with him. Thank you Shirley for sharing Larry with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was rock solid in his support of his deputy sheriffs. I am confident that every resident in Lawndale appreciated Larry's unselfish service to the community and his devotion to the city's youth. My wife and I will cherish the many wonderful memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. I do remember the Rudolph boys in school. And on the CB. Clearly a close family. May Larry rest in peace.

Larry Rudolph was my friend. When I met Larry he assisted me when my oldest daughter was attacked near the library. He had just got on the City Council. He became a true friend. I had the honor of sitting on the council with Larry.for eight years. I remember the day he told me needed a new heart. My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley and the family. I will miss him so much. Rest in peace my friend.
