Maria Agrusa passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 19, 2017. She was born May 22, 1921 in the town of Cinisi on the island of Sicily, Italy. She was a 45 year resident of San Pedro. She was preceded in death her husband, Antonino and her son, Domenico. Maria will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, especially her three children, Francesco (Concetta) Agrusa, Antonia (Giuseppe) Augello, Rosario Agrusa; ten grandchildren, Lillo (Wende), Nino (Christy), Mimmo (Diane), Anthony (Yvette), Domenic (Adriana), Maria (Dionisio), Joseph, Nino (Linda), Paolo (Giuseppina), Maria (Daniele) and 12 great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for the kindness and love she shared for her family. Also not to be forgotten for the wonderful Sunday dinners she would create. There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 24 at McNerney's Mortuary from 3-7 p.m. followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held at Mary Star of the Sea Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 25.
