Slavo, surrounded by his entire family, peacefully went to the Lord on February 8, 2013 and was greeted at heaven's door by his parents, Andrija and Slavka Stanojevich, son, Joseph and mother-in-law, Annie Dracic. He was born in Split, Croatia on March 7, 1939 and lived a very full and productive life. He had many accomplishments in his life, but considered his children and grandchildren his greatest. Slavo leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty years, Bobbie Ann (Bozica), son, Andy Victor, daughter, Laurie Ann and was Nono to his adoring grandchildren, Nicholas, Jake and Dominique Russo; brother, Jaksa and sister-in-law, Maja Stanojevich and brother, Andrija and sister-in-law, Ljiljana Stanojevich; nephews, Andrew and Mate; nieces, Mary and Slavka; and great-niece, Katarina. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate your donation be made to the San Pedro Peninsula Cancer Guild, c/o Phyllis Trujillo, 7 Wagon Lane, Rolling Hills, CA 90274 or the charity of your choice.
