Ramona Belmonte Gallegos
Ramona Belmonte Gallegos passed away at the age of 75 on Sunday March 23, 2014. She will truly be missed and always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Ramona is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alfonso Gallegos; daughter Joana Gallegos-Bradanovic; son Alfonso Gallegos, Jr.; grandchildren Eric and Brianna Bradanovic; brother Jesus Belmonte of Chihuahua, Mexico and sister Ignacia Cordero of El Paso, Texas; many nieces and nephews and her dog Princess. Ramona was born on December 28, 1938 in San Augustin, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a resident of Lawndale for 45 years. She enjoyed family gatherings and trips to the casinos. Ramona was a long-time homemaker who enjoyed cooking, watching TV novelas and baseball games. We would like to say a special thanks to all the staff at Sunnyside Nursing Home for all their help and support. Gone but not forgotten you will always be in our hearts. Visitation Services will be held March 28, 5pm-9pm at Rice Mortuary 5310 Torrance Blvd Torrance, CA. Funeral Services will be Saturday March 29 at 10am at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, CA.
