I was privileged to get to know Si when he was Chairman of Aetna,Jacobs,and Ramo and I was President and CEO. Over the 4 year period (1985-1989)we worked together on venture capital deals I came to know first hand not only what a brilliant,creative thinker Dr. Ramo was but also what a caring,compassionate,generous, decent human being he was. For all his impressive accomplishments, I felt he had no pretense. After Aetna ,Jacobs and Ramo closed,I stayed in touch with Si until he could no longer speak ( well after his 101st birthda Dr. Ramo was truly a one in a million individual. I willmiss him

SI Was An Incredible Leader And Visionary..I Was Able To Attend His 100th Birthday Party. He Was Still
Very Allert And Still Communicated Clearly And
Effectively. I Always Felt Very Proud To Have Worked
For TRW & NG. Being A Former Vietnam Veteran I Knew How Important Our National Defense Was. It Was Awesome To Work With Great Leaders Like Si.
