I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father Everett. He was an extraordinary man, one who had a profound influence on my, and many other young men's lives, through his Boy Scout and Explorer Post mentoring and guidance. He taught us lessons for a lifetime, always about aiming high and learning to achieve our goals. He taught us respect for others, and the ability to recognize that everyone has some type of unique talent and contribution. Eve taught us not only how to paddle a canoe, but how to build a canoe; a lesson I have carried with me my entire life. I will miss him, but never forget him. Please accept my profound sympathies for your loss.
