My first remembrance of eating at the Beacon, as a child, was close to the time that JC began his employment there. As a customer for over 55 years, with a reputation of eating there VERY often, I had the honor of having many conversations with JC about faith in Jesus, our families, his health and many other things. I wrote a song, "Call It," about JC to be used as a promotion for the JC Stroble Glaucoma Awareness Foundation. He told me that the song was played at his 50th Wedding Anniversary. JC was unique in many ways, but one of his best qualities is that he loved people and made friends so easily. I am thankful for his friendship. I pray for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to be with each member of his family and for all of us, who knew and loved him. I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
