I first met Jim around 1979 when I was a trust officer at the old Detroit Bank & Trust. I don't know if you believe in divine intervention or not, but it was a meeting that really never should have happened. Jim turned out to be one of nicest and best friends I ever was blessed to have. When I went into business for myself in 1982, Jim introduced me to Lee and Floy Barthel. The Barthels have been with me for the past 32 years!!! I am an investment advisor and the Barthels are extremely wonderful clients.I kept in touch with Jim on a regular basis until the past couple of years when I would leave Jim a message on his answering machine to no avail. I just wanted to share with you how much this wonderful gentleman meant to me. If someone in the family is able to give me a call, I would love to hear from you. (734)663-6545.
