Ms. Scott was an inspiration to all the Canadian girls, past and present. She represented Canada well, both in her youth and the rest of her life.The artifacts of her career she gave to Ottawa are legendary. May she rest in peace.

I grew up in the 50's and Barbara Ann Scott was my inspiration. I always tried to emulate her in my skating. She made me proud to be a Canadian. Linda Liss, Roswell, Georgia USA

Saddened to learn of Barbara Ann's death. Spoke with her recently at the opening of her Gallery in Ottawa. She was a role model for many, a wonderful athlete and a great Canadian. She made us all proud. Thank you for such a legacy. May you enjoy skating forever on a heavenly pond. Sincere sympathy, Tommy.
