Dear Pat and Family,
My condolences to you during this difficult time. I just lost my husband and know what you are going through. I am so glad you both could make our reunion at Karlstad's several years ago. Shirley Kleinen Parsons in Dixon, Calif.

Ben was a very good friend and mentor. We grew up only a few miles apart, attended the same University and never met until we both came to WSU. We shared business and benefits together, and son Dave worked with me at the farm. I always enjoyed the music that came from his band activities. His model train sets were always a treat. He will be missed by all who knew him and shared his positive approach life. Dan Caldwell
