Our Deepest Sympathy goes out to the Ackley Family. Harry was always there for my family. (many years ago)
The Warner Family
I remember Judge Ackley as fair and firm and, like N.V.A., I want to thank you for taking a chance on me also. I didn't let you down!
Rest in Peace Judge!
My condolences to the family, especially difficult so soon after the loss of your mother. Hold tight to one another.
Will miss a great friend on and off the tennis court.

To the Ackley children, Gloria, Peggy and Steven your parents were lovely people. Your father was a pleasure to work with. Harry and Lois are together watching over you. Peace and Love.
We would like to express our deepest sympathy. Please continue to lean on "The God of All Comfort" 2nd Cor. 1:3-4. Our Almighty God will sustain and comfort each of you in your time of grief.
I am the daughter of the late Avery Winston Ackley, Daughter of the late Thelma Irene Ackley. My father was the son of Denver Ackley of New York upstate. Judge Ackley was a very kind man, I believe when my father passed he sent my Mother a box of candy. At the time my brother own a courier business and met then with him. Judge Ackley had wish to share the family tree with our family. He was such a kind person. I truly wish to have known him better, so many of his life endeavors are similar I just didn't have the opportunity to achieve my dreams. Thank you for allowing me to say this.
110% in everything he did. My mentor. Thanks for believing in me.
May the God of peace give you strength and comfort during this time. Isa 61:2
As a judge, Harry Ackley went agaisnt the recommendations of both the district attorney and probation department when they wanted me to go to prison. Judge Ackley believed in me when no one else would, and today, it is because of him that I am the mature, responsible, law-abiding person I grew to be. Thank you Judge Ackley for taking a chance on me. May you rest eternally in peace.
