Dear LuEllen and family,
Sincere sympathy for your loss. I remember the good times we had at the Marine reunions. This year's 34th reunion was the last one. Semper Fi,
Dorothy Gonda, widow of Marine Albert Gonda

For all the hearts that Herb has touched, for those who lived with and loved him much. Know he is with the others we have loved and lost. Herbs light has not gone out only dimmed so that he can share it on the other side. I love Herb very much for the Husband he was to my sister LuEllen and the Father he was to my Nephew Ray. I know now too that he was always this way. Be well, be at peace. God Bless his entire family and loved ones.

Dear LuEllen, I am so sorry that you have lost such a wonderful man as Herb. I always enjoyed meeting with you and Herb at our Marine reunions. It seems at we were the only ones from California, which made us feel closer together. I was looking forward to seeing you and Herb at our up coming reunion at the Marine base in Quantico, Virginia this August. Other widowed wives of former Marines have attended our unions and so please feel free to join us at any future reunions. We will be thinking of Herb and will honor him at this reunion
