Margie, Kenny, Kurt & family,
I attended Phil's celebration of life today. It brought back so many memories of growing up down the street from Phil. I remember delivering their newspaper and Phil being outside in the driveway of his parent's house working on his car. I would stop when Phil would greet me. Being a curious kid, I would ask what he was doing. He would explain he was adjusting the valves to make sure he could get optimum performance from his car's engine. Not knowing what he was explaining, I just watched. Little did I know then that Phil would spike my interest in cars and the need for speed. He would frequently drive by my house and would always wave or rev the engine of his car. If a young kid could have asked for an older brother it would have been Phil. I was fortunate to be able to work with Phil at the Electric Garage. I remember him ordering his 68 Dodge Charger. It was blue with black interior and yes it had a 426 Hemi and a 4 speed. Life took both of us in different directions. I regret that our pathes failed to cross in our later years. Phil, I will cherish the memories.........RIP.

Margie, Kenny & Kurt,

Our deepest thoughts and memories go out to you for the loss of Phil. I personally enjoyed Phil's company. Rolling Rock and shooting all of our pistols at Cache Creek with all of the boys. And my wife will certainly miss her personal greetings.
Our family, Bill, Hannelore, Billy, Dieter, Dieter Jr and all of the employees of B&R Head & Block will miss our dear friend Phil.

Margie and Family,
I have a fond memory of a sleep over in Phil's back yard and of him coming up and greeting me when I visited the WHS Class of 1966's Reunion a few years ago. Bruce Baccei

Dear Margie,
I'm very saddened to hear of Phil's passing. I smile every time I think about his airboat story.
