Randy, Rob and Katie -

It is never easy (or fair) to lose a loved one, but it is made especially difficult when a family is close with each other like you are. Remember the fun times, the quiet morning chats, the holiday dinners and welcome home hugs. That is where she lives on in each of you until you are together again. You are all in my prayers, that you find peace and closure.

My first introduction to Terry was through a Babysitting Co-op that many mothers around Woodland had formed to help each other out. I don't remember every watching Katie or Rob, but I do remember her watching my son, and how at ease and comfortable I was in leaving him in her care. This was over 25 years ago. Over the years, our paths have crossed and eventually she landed in our Bunko group. She was loved by all of us "Bunko Babes" and I know we all have fond, happy memories of our time with her. Terry had a way of always making you feel special. I never heard her speak poorly about anyone. She was so proud of her children and spoke of them often with joy and pride in her voice. My last memory of Terry is her on her walk with her friend Sue in our neighborhood. We stopped to talk about how happy she was that Katie had just returned home from the Peace Corps and that she would be sticking around figuring out her next steps. She was beaming that she had her little girl close to home again. I am sorry to not be able to say my final goodbye to Terry as I will be out of state, but my thoughts and prayers will be with her family and friends on Thursday and always.
