Dear Nancy, We don't yet know how much we will miss Shorty in the coming years. He has always been a part of our lives and the life of Mineral itself. His place here went far beyond the water district, but his tireless efforts on it will never be forgotten.

Nancy, Shelly and I spent the month of June in LA assisting our daughter and just found out about Shorty passing. We are so sorry, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We always enjoyed talking with Shorty, we know he has gone to prepare a way for you and is rejoicing with family members in heaven. God bless you and comfort you and your family in your loss.
