Lillian S. Belsito KINGSTON- Lillian S. Belsito, 96, of Kingston, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in Glasco, she was a daughter of the late John and Ethel Lyons Sisco. Lillian enjoyed crocheting, sewing, crossword puzzles, gardening, crafts, cooking, baking, painting, music, poetry and her two parakeets. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. Lillian is survived by her son, John F. Belsito and his wife Cindy of Kingston; a sister, Julia Sisco of Kingston; and five grandchildren, Christine Carpino and her husband Thomas III, Darren Setera and his wife Lisa, John Paul Setera and his wife Julie, Beth Schmidt and her husband Steven, Suzanne Rimington and her husband Thomas. 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, John Belsito whom she married on Feb. 6, 1939 and who passed in 1982; a daughter, Annette Setera; and four sisters, Elsie D’Onofrio, Emma Ware, Anna Resso and Jeanette Hernandez. Lillian will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral procession will form on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon at St. Joseph Church in Kingston. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Snow Church. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County, 250 Tuytenbridge Rd., Lake Katrine, N.Y., 12449. You have my sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. It is never easy to lose a parent, but you may take pride in the fact that she lived a long life due to the fact that you took such great care of her. May she RIP.
