Trudy Lee Koyon Grant YORKTOWN, VA.- Trudy Lee Koyon Grant, 45, of Yorktown, Va., formerly of Saugerties, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. Trudy was a military spouse and was a resident of the peninsula for the last six years. She was very active in the Grafton School Community, Langley Youth Bowling, and with the Girl Scouts of Yorktown. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Todd David Grant; her son, Zachary “Zac Zac”; her daughter, Jenna; her father, Richard Koyon; a sister, Paula Panke; and her mother-in-law, Jean Risdal. Trudy was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Koyon. Trudy will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Stetson from the New Paltz Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Trud, I am so happy but sad that you are in a better place or as Todd said the perfect place. You have so many friends but our friendship didn't have to consist of talking every day or months, when we were together it was like no time had passed only our kids got older. You will be missed by many. I love you and tell mom I said hi!
